I found a goof-up in my knitting for the Stitch Diva bodice: five rows of stitches, five stitches wide, that angled right instead of left. I unravelled them, and very carefully reconstructed the lace pattern — mirrored decreases, yarnovers and all — without even a crochet hook. It is now perfect. I saved myself a whole day of reknitting, dude! I’m a genius!
… The kind of genius that totally forgets how to follow a mind-numbingly simple lace chart, but a genius nonetheless.
